Description: Initially thought was a beagle, as it looks so much like my lemon beagle in the original pics I saw from the original person who found him. Turns out he’s much too big for that. He weighs over 50 pounds and may be a Bassett mix with a larger dog. Or a Beagle mix with a larger dog. He was originally found in Ward. He had injuries to his snout, looks to have been in a fight with another animal and had a tooth go through into a sinus cavity. The lady who had him was not able to get him to the vet for treatment and scan for microchip. So we picked him up to care for him, get him medical care, treatment, and scanned. Unfortunately, he did not have a chip. His wounds are healing and he is on meds. We also gave him flea, tick, and heart worm meds and a rabies shot. He is heart worm negative. Now to find his owners. If you know who he belongs to, please let me know. Thank you.
