Reunion Story:Captain came home this morning about 6 am on his own. He was missing for ten days. He was injured in the leg but the first thing this morning he got to visit the vet. He is home again and his family and brother Bucky are so thrilled he is home. He has some healing to do but we are relieved. Thank you to all who searched, prayed and comforted my daughter and son inlaw in these last ten days. Its all i wanted for Christmas.Captain decided that his ten day trip was long enough and found his way back home. Bucky and I were dead asleep when, around 6:30 am, we heard a pained howling that jolted us out of bed. I looked around the house and finally went back to the back door and found this sweet face staring back at me. I have no idea where he has been or what he has been doing but I am so glad he is home.

He has a large open wound on his leg that led us to the vet first thing this morning, but the doc said it’s a wound that he probably got his first or second day out and is already healing nicely. He’s very tired and you can tell he’s in a lot of pain, but he is so happy to be home.

Thank you to everyone who shared our posts, who prayed for our sweet Captain’s return, and who have been searching for him. We are so blessed to live in such an amazing community.
